We have clogs in 3 toilets and it has become very annoying. The traditional plunger stopped working and we had to wait several days for the toilet to unlatch by pouring hot water and dish soap (we don't want to use abrasive chemicals). After a megablock incident, this is the ONLY piston/solution that worked. It's very easy to use, and like the other reviews, make sure you're holding it at an angle. I'm just not sure if it's "easy to clean" because of the spiral end, so I apply some disinfectant directly to the rubber and then rinse it around with clean toilet water and pour hot water over it. nothing "stinky" is left in the coils. I like that it comes with a mount that covers it well.
