Review on π DSLRKIT Active PoE Splitter - Gigabit 802.3at, 24W Power Over Ethernet, 48V to 12V 2A by Gary Revils
I only used output power, no ethernet.
I had an application where I needed 12V, 2 amps near the POE output. I installed this splitter and the power delivery worked great. I didn't use the Ethernet port, so I can't comment on that. Although this solved my problem.
