Resolved issue with multiple USB-C ports that require a direct connection

After a recent software update, I found that my HP printer and Logitech webcam would not work if they were not connected directly connected to the USB-C port on my HP laptop. I bought this device hoping that it would accept input from these devices and allow me to use the camera and printer without having to change port connections. That's exactly what happened! BTW (my HP only had two (2) USB-C ports and I had a multifunction dock connected, but the USB-A inputs were not enough for those connections to work.
