Love these hooks. They are light, comfortable to hold and easier to use than long aluminum hooks. The plastic is smooth and won't hang from the twine like bamboo hooks. I tested the strength by intentionally breaking one of the hooks that I never use. It took all my strength to pull the cord as hard as I could before it began to stretch and finally broke. I really had to try to break it. This cannot happen by accident. I also definitely like that the size of the hook is stamped into the plastic so it doesn't rub off. Length can be adjusted. However, the beads are too loose and never stay where you put them. Also while I say the plastic is smooth and won't snag your yarn, it's almost too smooth. Silky chenille or velvet yarn tends to slip off the hook.
