Review on πŸ”ͺ DCT Inch Sharpening Stone Holder: Enhance Precision and Stability in Your Sharpening Routine by Jim Reinhardt

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Holds rocks well but gets slippery when wet.

The stone holder holds both my Shapton glass stones and my diamond plates perfectly. However, the rubber "feet" tend to slip on smooth, wet surfaces. My stones sit on a granite slab and I had to epoxy non-slip "bumpers" to the granite to keep the stone holders from slipping when the granite got wet. Running the stones dry or placing them on a surface with a higher coefficient of friction is not a problem. Otherwise you have to reckon with having to attach the holders.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
