I've had this product for 4 months and the battery should last 10 years. I started getting error codes for the first 3 weeks by doing what the troubleshooting guide told me and now "Battery Dead" is finally appearing. It could be a bad battery, that happens. I bought 2 others at the same time and they work perfectly. My problem with this is customer service. I am on the phone with a person who I hardly understand, it seemed to me that the CS person just wanted to send me to the manufacturer so that the manufacturer takes care of it. After almost 30 minutes of arguing with the CS manager, I finally got off the phone with the CS manager, who I was able to deal with a little better. After arguing with her about sending me a new unit with a return label and paperwork, I packed up the defective unit and sent it back (reminding me that you have my credit card number so you can bill). if I don't send it back).
