After going to school with my Frenchman I liked this collar so much that I decided to buy it to resell to my training clients. I would like to address things that I have seen in other reviews. 1) Properly fitted, this collar should be the size of your dog's neck at its narrowest point. That means you won't strangle the dog, but he can't slip out either. If you have a dog whose head is larger than the neck, it should be as big as the dog's head. 2) Martingales should not be used for correction-based training. They are not intended for this purpose. 3) Nylon will greatly soften with use. I just want a very large size for my customers with larger dogs! I will order again when I need more!
