I really like this kettle. I wanted something beautiful, functional and plastic free and this teapot was just that. I have had mine for several years and have already gifted this item to a few people who have seen mine and loved it. I get compliments all the time. As with any metal kettle, I recommend draining it completely after use and towel drying or air drying to avoid rusting. The only reason I docked it in a star shape is that the knob on the lid loosens up a bit, but is easily tightened with a screwdriver and the wood on the knob isn't fully wrapped. So when you touch a metal part, sometimes it's too hot. I usually use a towel or oven mitt when pouring out of it.
