But the worst was the first time (and the only time) we.

This kettle was so cute (and our daughter's name. Points got it for that) but unfortunately it's cheap. The handle got too hot, the metal was thin and "tiny". But the worst part was that the first (and only) time we heated water in it, the whole house stank of melted plastic. We looked at the teapot and the color started to fade. Pooh! If this company made a kettle just like this, but of better quality, I would buy it again.

Very bad and dangerous quality.

Charming kettle! However, it is also a very poor quality! In the past week I've noticed (when filling the water tank in a coffee pot) that the water looks very cloudy. Today when I filled the kettle with water to fill the tank I actually looked inside the kettle and found the entire bottom rim was rusty. I'm scared to think I drank water from this kettle. It never occurred to me that it could be the kettle. It's new! IT'S STAINLESS STEEL!

Functional and beautiful

I really like this kettle. I wanted something beautiful, functional and plastic free and this teapot was just that. I have had mine for several years and have already gifted this item to a few people who have seen mine and loved it. I get compliments all the time. As with any metal kettle, I recommend draining it completely after use and towel drying or air drying to avoid rusting. The only reason I docked it in a star shape is that the knob on the lid loosens up a bit, but is easily tightened…

how it is a nice kettle

I bought it in June 2017 and in October I noticed that it was rusting around the lid. It is now December and the rust on the lid has spread quite a bit. Very disappointing as it is a beautiful teapot; but I'm not sure I'd pay again knowing it would rust in less than six months. inferior quality. UPDATE Jan 2018: Rust is getting more and more extensive. Very disappointing because I really liked the look of this teapot. Also, it's like the bottom jumped out a bit and now it jumps all over the…

Divine but DANGEROUS

The ONLY reason I didn't return this kettle after first use is because it's so beautiful. It cost too much money to be so buggy. First, the description on the site is wrong: the handle doesn't fold. Second, more steam comes out of the top than out of the sink. Most importantly, the metal on the handle is extremely dangerous. The wood should only be used for decoration as there is no functional sense in allowing metal to peek out between pieces of wood. My hands can handle heat so I can pour…
