Review on Enhanced OXO Good Grips Corkscrew for Improved Ease of Use by Christina Adams

We are big fans of Oxo products. Consistently well designed, reasonably priced and always satisfactory. Unfortunately, this pair of watches is our first disappointment with an Oxo product. It just doesn't work. We made two attempts on two different bottles before giving up and asking for a refund. The material is not strong enough. As you twist the cork, the plastic twists and flexes. It does not screw deep enough into a standard cork for two pressed wings to fully pull the cork out. Therefore, you need to pump it out of the "Dead-Lift" bottle. Once the bottle is finally opened, the cork can no longer be removed from the corkscrew without pliers. This is a complete failure.
