The main purpose of this purchase is to brew coffee in bulk. I found it very easy to control the flow. It did the job well. In addition, the handler is not hot. What immediately catches the eye is the build quality and the cooking seems quick and the heat holds up well. I love that part too. I also found the thermometer very handy as I also use it to brew different teas like green tea, black tea, oolong tea. You need a different boiling point, once it reaches the desired temperature I can follow it. If I overcook, I can just leave it at the temperature I want. This kettle is best for brewing coffee and tea.
