High quality material, fits much tighter than in the photo.
I ordered size 12 for my 8 year old grandson. (he is almost 9) He is slim but not petite, with an athletic build. He felt it was too tight; He didn't like that it was much tighter than the panties he was used to and didn't like the high neckline. It's 20% spandex so more like a bathing suit. This is great quality so it depends on your purpose and usage.
