Item did not work. Follow the instructions to connect to Arduino. I know I did it right because the registry sketch goes through the first two steps (getting two fingerprints and converting). However, the next step fails with an unknown error. I even tried two different fingers to figure out the mismatch error. Vain. Contacted the seller and received no response. We will return the product and try something else. This is a sequel. Eventually the seller replied to me with a tech support contact. But at this point I understood the problem. The problem is related to the library that can be downloaded from the link in the product description. DO NOT use this library, it will not work properly. Get the Adafruit Fingerprint Scanner Library. The scanner works pretty well now. I'm increasing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. I'm taking off one star for the bad library link and another for the time it took to get a response from the seller. In fact, I think they needed a 1 star rating to get them to respond.
