It's plastic but well made.
I've looked at quite a few bike light kits and I really like this one. It's plastic, but for the price it's pretty decent. Metal ones usually cost twice as much. It's chic and modern. It's not a very bright light but it gives off a very good beam that goes a long way which is sure to help people see you and your bike. Also comes with a nice rubber mount that easily adjusts to almost any handlebar. The included tail light or brake light has bright red LEDs with many different modes, a few blinks and more. Overall a good set for the price, hard to beat. I would be happy to recommend.
