It's plastic but well made.

I've looked at quite a few bike light kits and I really like this one. It's plastic, but for the price it's pretty decent. Metal ones usually cost twice as much. It's chic and modern. It's not a very bright light but it gives off a very good beam that goes a long way which is sure to help people see you and your bike. Also comes with a nice rubber mount that easily adjusts to almost any handlebar. The included tail light or brake light has bright red LEDs with many different modes, a few blinks

Exceeds Expectations

As the days got shorter my son needed a bike light to improve his visibility when cycling after work. This set was perfect, with a very bright headlight to illuminate the road ahead, as well as a tail light to alert oncoming drivers to its location. He also commented on how easy it was to set up and install, with easy charging and placement on his mountain bike. The lights feel very solid and have multiple brightness and flash settings and can be tilted and adjusted for the best visibility. The

ABS Plastic 3 LED Bike Tail Light Rechargeable
