Review on 🧹 Highly Efficient Vacmaster Pro 8 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac with Certified Hepa Filtration by Chris Wagner

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Decent, good at best for vacuums and floor machines

You know you get what you pay for? See example: Vacmaster HEPA vac under $200. I ordered this vacuum to help clean a renovation project that needed a vacuum that's rated for fine particles that you don't want to throw back into the air. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a commercial HEPA vacuum, so I decided to give it a try. First the box arrived completely damaged. Not a brown box (which was perfectly fine) but a real box within a brown box. Still, the vacuum and parts inside seemed workable. However, once I started taking everything apart and taking a closer look at the vacuum cleaner, it turned out that this thing had very questionable build quality. Almost all parts are made from cheap injection molded plastic. The tabs that attach the top half of the vacuum to the tank are thin and plastic, as are the nozzles. A vacuum cleaner designed to remove potentially toxic substances needs to have gaskets on all mating components from the suction point to the tank - this thing doesn't have them. Despite being HEPA and EIA certified, I wouldn't trust this vacuum cleaner with such tasks. This is probably fine for general store cleaning, sawdust removal, etc. (and may offer better isolation than a traditional wet/dry vacuum), but I'm skeptical that every single vacuum coming off the conveyor will use the HEPA Requirements fully met system. just my thoughts

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
