Do not buy this vacuum cleaner. This thing took my mate a bad knock on the head when the latch connecting the top to bottom unexpectedly broke while I was carrying it up the stairs. update. 09.06.20. I still use this vacuum and it works great. I vacuumed up dirt, paint residue, sharp fingernails, everything EXCEPT water. I still refuse to use it as a wet vacuum because the multi-layer filtration bothers me with mold/fungus if they get wet they will be difficult to dry completely. The suction power is still good.
