I bought this monitor as my regular Korean 32 inch IPS 4K monitor failed. They seem hard to find; After a long random check, 2 were in stock at the end of July at 1:00 am and I ordered them. : only 1 point black pixels and right next to the control. Less than 1/2 cm from the edge, so no problem at all. I was concerned about bad pixels based on other reviews. Another good news, it seems to work great with both the old MacBook Pro and the upcoming ARM based Mac, and the display looks absolutely gorgeous, the brightness is the same etc. The only major issue, that's pretty much it for me What's annoying is that it likes to fall asleep even if USB-C is disconnected or hibernated for 1 second, and that it often doesn't recognize/turn on after USB-C is reconnected. You either have to turn it off and on again, press the joystick, or use one of the other buttons and it seems to do the detection. Given the reports of broken joysticks, I rely on hitting one of the other buttons to bring it back to life. If that joystick dies or falls out as reported, it will be a disaster. It forgets the blue light setting every time the computer restarts or the cable is unplugged. Sometimes the computer switches to HDR mode and the image is blurry when the computer is in non-HDR mode, so you have to switch the computer to HDR mode and then back to non-HDR mode. Sometimes when waking up, the keyboard and mouse on the USB hub won't turn on, so you have to turn them on and off again. After restarting the computer, it may take several monitor restarts before everything returns to normal. It's just confusing to design a professional monitor that doesn't work well with a Mac. Less problem, mine says the firmware is MC201 and on the web the latest firmware is MC102. Why do manufacturers do this all the time and leave things in a confusing state? If MC201 is the newest, just place a copy of it in place of MCM102. If it isn't, don't use 102 to mean newer than 201. If you have a v1 or v2 monitor, list it on the firmware page. So right now this buggy thing has different firmware than the latest firmware, and it may or may not be the latest firmware.
