Exactly As described, 19/32 Huge size and I had to adjust the hole in the wooden legs as the end of the dowel stuck in the hole holding the spindle after I did the stain From the wood I removed the dowel with a flathead screwdriver and a hammer and had to pry the dowel out slowly, the ones that didn't come out I drilled out and made a new hole in its place. It looks like the drill is good for wood, not sure about metal. Heck I bought a set of these unusually large drill bits which are definitely a must have. I recommend this product.
