Review on Wright Products VC333BL Colonial Button by Diztymewntu Sacra

This latch with knob was very easy and quick to install, no problems. It is well built and looks beautiful, matching our previous one almost perfectly. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism is difficult to use and hard to push into the locked position. Loosening the top screw helped, apparently it was too tight and the thumb lever was crushed. But it still doesn't work that well, it still slips unless you press it very hard. There's no click action to indicate it's actually blocked, it's the result of a hit or miss. I think I can improve it if I take it apart and fix it, but right now I don't feel like messing with it. Maybe later. Overall, for the money, it's a pretty good buy, even with a broken lock.
