I bought this to stamp .030 inch thick styrenic discs (a bit thicker than a disposable plastic sheet). And it's a mess after just two tracks. There are a few bad things about it. an oily mess, it was covered with rust in several places, especially in the holes. To the point that I had to carefully remove the rust in order for the stamps to even fit. congealed to a sticky varnish, so that even the two not so badly rusted holes had to be rubbed out in order for the stamps to fit. 3- The alignment of the holes in the acrylic does not match the holes in the metal. Because they're meant to be a guide, most punches don't go straight into a hole in the metal. Both sizes I tested clipped one edge of the hole. In the near future I will no longer be able to break through the round part, even in very thin plastic. used or owned you can pop out the die bar after you die the part. Most punches will block if you try to push them all the way through. I'm afraid that if I tap one too deep it will get stuck in the block permanently. All in all, I shouldn't have spent money on this unit, I should have spent a little more and gotten a usable set. Basically I got that because of the 3/4 inch hole which is actually the worst of the set. And the last thing to pay attention to. This is a shipping issue and I believe this is Revain's fault. My first package arrived empty because they decided to send it in an envelope instead of a small box. The item was too heavy for the envelope and it ripped off the cover (disappeared alone with another item that traveled with it). I notified Revane and she sent me new ones but was sent the same way. BTW the top has worn about the same but not as much as the previous one. The product has no envelope quality, it needs a box.
