Both mounting holes are threaded Several users have commented on the angled, unthreaded mounting hole on Carlisle broom heads. In January 2020 I ordered 3 different brush models. Head: 3685314 (blue), 3686700 (natural/brown) and 3686805 (red). All broom heads have both straight and angled threaded mounting holes and fit standard US handles. I use broom heads with 12 foot retractable aluminum poles to clear debris from high spots. With the new broom heads, the threads are tight and do not loosen on the handle.
