Review on KitchenAid KSMVSA Slicer Shredder Attachment by Angel Cortez

This product was a big disappointment. I have enjoyed using KitchenAid products for many years. My old grater broke so I decided to try this 'new and improved model'. Grating things like carrots was great, and then when I used it for the cheese all the cheese was mixed together. I dropped the plunger and the plastic shattered into pieces. When I called KitchenAid they immediately replaced the plunger free of charge which was great as it was my fault. my carrot. I was careful and slow with my grill and was shocked. Thank goodness I saw the damage to the butt otherwise my grandson could swallow a broken piece. I immediately threw the entire product in the bin. Now I'm using the old model, which works great. It's sad that I lost $50 doing this, but it appears to be a dangerous product.
