Review on 🔌 Kester 24-6040-0039 Rosin Core Solder Wire Roll, 44 Activated, 0.040" Diameter by Chris Rigsby

Although I've soldered quite a bit, I've used the same Radio Shack 60/40 coil for the last 25 years. I had a serious mental crisis when I realized I was about to graduate! I thought you were going to run out of lead solder, but I'm glad I was wrong. I looked at the cheaper generics sold at Revain but went with a trusted brand like Kester. That's how I know I'm getting the right thing. The solder works the same as it did on my old coil. It flows cleanly and cures excellently. This role will probably last me another 25 years!
