Purchased to replace a burned out motor in my electric fireplace. The installation is quite easy. The shaft was a bit long but I adjusted it to fit. This motor is noisier than the OEM model. The clockwise/counterclockwise rotation is random, so sometimes the flame will rotate in the opposite direction. This is easily fixed by toggling it on and off a few times. In general, the purchase is satisfied. It's better to spend $300+ dollars for a new block.
