Review on 📢 VXH2112B Vixen Horns Loud 2/Dual Trumpet Train Air Horn Kit - Black 12V, Complete System with Two Compressors by Anthony Savage

I had to replace my 21 year old horns, 1 is not working. First I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that this is probably the best product for the price and my needs. I didn't want the horn to be so loud that you startled everyone in the 2 block area. Finding the old horn on my 1999 F-250 Super Duty wasn't easy, even if someone honked the horn while I was looking for it under the hood. Ford spent a lot of time hiding this. It is located between the inside and outside viewfinders on the passenger side, above the plastic shaft. I just wanted access to the old horns so I could have the wiring to connect to the new horn. I installed new horns and 2 compressors behind the front bumper at the bottom of the radiators. I bleeped for the first time and was very happy with the sound and volume/volume. Please folks, this is not a "train horn" but it sounds very similar to a "simi or dump truck" horn. Attract attention. Double horns result in a very pleasant two-tone. After a few beeps from the new horns I blew a 15 amp fuse in the old fuse box, I put in a new 20 amp fuse and although it works great I put in a 25 or 30 amp fuse, when she burns out. I love that it's aluminum and feels very solid, very well built. Being able to remove the horns from the horn body helped me install them in my chosen location.
