📢 VXH2112B Vixen Horns Loud 2/Dual Trumpet Train Air Horn Kit - Black 12V, Complete System with Two Compressors Review

These are the best 12v horns you can buy without spending hundreds on a complete set of train horns. It's loud enough to draw attention and get people moving. They are on all 5 of my work trucks.

Perfect sound for a large setup, LOUD but not insanely loud. I bought a better relay and used the existing wire to the old horn to start the relay - in my case the factory horn wire was POSITIVE, not negative like the manual suggests. These horns are sure to get the attention of Masshole drivers!

Sound signals are excellent but there is no relay in the kit. Had to buy from an auto parts store for a replacement. The relay will buzz or do nothing 90% of the time and operate only 10% of the time. After replacing the relay, the horns work great. Buyers note that they are 118dB, not 150dB like other horns. So they're noisy, but not entirely uncomfortable. Too bad they don't come with 18psi twin compressors instead of the 15 that this kit comes with. This would make them a little louder.

I think for the price these horns are REALLY LOUD! High quality metal tubing as opposed to cheap plastic tubing. The kit includes two pipes AND two AIR compressors. Having two compressors instead of just one is the main reason they sound so good and loud in my opinion. Also comes with a relay but no fuse or fuse holder (you will need to supply your own fuse). It's a small item, no big deal, but I think it should come with a fuse. Works perfectly

Overall good value for money but definitely not 150dB as advertised. I'd say it's louder and deeper than a standard horn, not a train horn, but it will draw some attention. Installed as advertised with no problems but requires a switch, wire, built in fuse holder and relay connector harness for a cleaner install. I would give this (VXH211C) horn 5 stars but there were no instructions and 1 mounting bolt and nut in the box. This horn is as loud as I expected, it's pretty easy to install and works well. I added another relay so that both compressors are powered by their own relay instead of being powered together by the same relay.
