Some people who left reviews seemed to expect that this brush or liner would not require their hair to be shampooed very often. It wasn't the ad I read. I was expecting to be able to use one of the brush heads in the pack (I change them out about once a week when I shampoo as usual) and the result would be a clean brush that would be easier to keep as clean as new. . If my hair stayed fresher I thought that would be a plus but I still don't want it to be perfumed. My expectations were actually met and even exceeded! I've had this brush for a few weeks now and it's actually still perfectly clean *without* my previous efforts to remove what appeared to be small dry lint from the tips of each bristle and clean it. I'm so happy with the way he keeps his brush clean, it's a shame to get so excited about something so boring. My hair doesn't smell between weekly shampoos, which I think is great. I don't know what persimmon smells like, but just the smell of scalp oil or the smell of unclean hair in my hair lasts me until about the last day of the week for the comb to piss me off. I don't mind washing my hair once a week. For the record, my hair is below my waist now, so I have to work through a lot of hair in a week with a brush that stays clean to the end easily. I'm a happy customer!
