I so wanted to love these

I had to send these back despite how much I wanted to like them. They absolutely killed my feet. I thought maybe a little break in time would help, wore them to work for one shift and damn near wanted to be barefoot by the end of my shift. The leather around the tongue area is far to thick and stiff and dug into my ankles with a vengeance like no other. The quality is great! The weight was great! The look of the boot, great! Comfort is where Thorogood really missed the mark here. Maybe a softer leather? That about the only fix here.Ended up going with Danners, they were excellent out of the box. No break-in time required with these. Way more comfortable.

The boots are lightweight, making them easy to move around in

Great work boots. I go through a pair of work boots about every 6 months, these are holding up great so far. Very comfortable and secure feeling. The very heel of the outer rubber sole got a little flappy, especially while driving, but trimmed a bit of rubber and good again. Will try another pair of thorogood for next boots.
