Worked For Me on Safety & Survival

So listen, I had no intention of writing a review for this product. I bought this a few months ago because I live on the fourth floor in NYC and don't have a fire escape and even though I've lived here for ten years I had an instant panic attack from being caught in a fire. I bought them for myself and then sent them to all my family members. Tonight I'm cooking a burger on the electric grill on my patio. I use one of those grill safe rubber mats to keep it cleaner - I think that's the culprit. There's a fat burning fire! I'm alone - but I'm not panicking. I close the lid, unplug, and run to the closet where a fire blanket hangs on the hook provided. I open them, run back onto the deck, open the grill lid, and the fire is still blazing. I throw a space at it and bang - it goes out immediately. The fire went out - dinner was not spoiled either. Thank god I was ready. I just ordered 3 more.

Pros
  • Puts out stove fires quickly, easily, safely and cleanly. Fire blankets are a great addition to a home fire extinguisher.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
