I have a crank style window in our apartment.1. This product does not tell you that you would have to monkey it around the crank to make it work.2. The zipper sucks. When you try to seal the duct.the zipper cannot carry the weight of the typical duct of the portable A/C.3. The product is too long to wrap around the window so you'll have extra product that you need to tuck somewhere because you can't trim it.4. One positive thing I can say is that the adhesive on the velcro is good enough to hold the weight of the product and the duct.You are better off putting a sturdy board and cut out an opening by tracing the end part of your airconditioning unit's duct. You can screw it on the board or use a very good adhesive (hotglue might even work but perhaps try a heavy duty double sided tape).
