Solid brass on anti-collision repair kits

Required extra hitch lock for 2nd trailer. I wanted a different lock than the first one and stumbled across this one. I was attracted by the low price and durable brass. The locking mechanism wasn't quite what I expected. You actually have to turn the lock cylinder 4-5 times with the key as it is actually a threaded shank. When turning, the two sides slowly move apart and the temple opens. Once the pin is out of the groove on the opposite arm, both arms can fold over. It feels very solid. There is a rubber seal around the lock cylinder to protect against water and dirt. The brass key is easily identifiable on my keychain, making it easy to find the right key. I recommend buying this lock.
