Terrible tool! DO NOT use where a precise hole is required!

So I bought this to put a peep hole in my metal door. This was recommended in a video I watched while researching the project. I saw him use this tool and it worked for him. That's why I ordered it. I checked the racquet before I started and it looked fine. Did a great job drilling the back of the door. But it failed when drilling the front side hole. Everything started well; but mid-drill it began to sway wildly and uncontrollably. When I stopped to inspect the bat, this is what it looked like (see image). The center drill was no longer centered in the hole saw; resulting in an absolute mess of half a hole in my front door. I tried re-centering it but it kept going out of order. I had to resort to other non-metallic cutting bits in my collection to finish the hole. Terrible experience. Needless to say I sent the racket back. It might be defective, and the rest of the supplies are fine; but I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • New side slot with greater leverage for quicker and easier snail removal
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
