The computer doesn't like it and won't charge, so end up using .

I have one of the new (Early 2018) HP Specter x360 13t-ae0xx Ultrabooks with dual Thunderbolt 3 inputs that seems to have issues charging through many docks due to HP's Specter line did something wrong You can only charge your computer with the proprietary USBc AC/DC converter. So if you plug the USBc wall jack converter into the dock and then plug the dock into the computer's USBc input, the computer doesn't like it and won't charge it, so you end up using both USBc inputs, one for charging and one the other for the dock. Thankfully, that's not a problem with this well-built, solid aluminum-bodied docking station, all the extra inputs you need in one compact, well-built, and inexpensive device. PS: One of the Revain images says it is not compatible with HP Specter 12X12 and Pavillion X2. I can't speak to those two iterations, specifically the Specter 12X12. But I know MANY people have had issues with the Specter line not charging through docking stations, and I can tell you with certainty that it works with the 2018 proprietary 13-inch Specter, so it probably works with those larger sizes because they all have the same proprietary HP Wand. Output converters and my latest Specter 13t is no exception. It will not charge with any other charger. But it is charged through this docking station.
