I used a standard ground hammer. One of the reviews here said that if you are into DIY, you should choose this hammer. Thank you friend. This hammer makes installing hardwood floors a whole different exercise. This is the hammer you want to use to install hardwood. I use it to install on glue and get a lot of work. I can't recommend it highly enough. It's very well weighted, weighs just the right amount so you don't have to swing at all, and it doesn't leave a mark. The rubber head is excellent and has the right consistency for the job. Do not be shy. I've used 4-5 ground hammers and this is a reliable option, the best I've seen at this price point.
