I started feeding my parrots this two years ago on the advice of a vet - suprem and seeds just weren't giving them the nutrition they needed. This feed is a brownish-grey, small, uniform kibble, visually a far cry from the fun iridescent shapes of Zuprim, but my birds have proved that these lovely colors and shapes are more of a gimmick to entice people to buy than birds. EAT it. Some of my birds took it right away and the rest followed within 2 days. Even my pickiest old lovebird, who has eaten seeds all his life, has adapted to this food and now eats it exclusively! My blue crown kennel prefers these small "little" pellets over the larger varieties so a large bag like this makes it possible to feed both my lovebirds and my kennel! It keeps very well in the fridge (at that amount, I prefer to keep it cold to keep it fresh). The colors of their plumage really came alive after eating this food for a while.
