I ordered one of these and the product I received was broken on arrival. I received excellent customer service. It wasn't apparent in the packaging but there was a quarter sized star shaped tear on the side of the main body of the siphon tube that rendered the first unit I received unusable. I contacted the seller and he quickly fixed the problem. I returned the broken product through the Revain kiosk at the nearest store and they sent me a new one. It didn't take long for him to arrive. I received it and the new device was in perfect condition. Since then I have used it several times. Works perfectly. It's a little tricky fitting an 8ft pipe up over the siphon's angled pipe (heated water is your friend) and you have to be careful when tightening to fully support the angled pipe or it will break. The plastic feels a bit brittle, but not flimsy. As long as you're careful not to kink the angled pipe, you're fine. Also, don't let the pipe pull down as its own weight if you can help extend the life of the siphon. The shipping packaging can be upgraded to better protect the top angle tube from impact. Both devices I received came in a box that was almost a foot and a half too long for the item and the padding was just a few pieces of partially wadded paper not positioned where the hose was for padding. A good tap on the pipe and the whole siphon is ruined. I was fortunate that this was not my problem with any device I received.
