Review on 🚴 CATEYE - Velo 7 Wired Bike Computer for Enhanced SEO, CC-VL520 by Jason Wesley

I bought this bike computer because so many others have had such good experiences installing and using it. But unfortunately it wasn't my experience. Pro: The display is easy to read while driving. Miles was mostly correct. Cons: Computer setup is not intuitive. I'm not a newbie to setup, but the instructions (which were in the pictures) were completely incomprehensible to me. Words could change everything. After about 15 minutes I resorted to a YouTube video. If you make a mistake in the settings, you will have to start over. If you change the battery you will lose all your data with no possibility to reset it. bike installation. I watched the YouTube video again to make sure I did it right. I have a small hybrid bike but the cable was too short to install according to the instructions. Because of this, no matter how I adjusted the position of the wires, I couldn't put it on the steering wheel. There weren't enough zip ties to attach it as securely as I would have liked or to correct an error. While driving, it showed my speed and miles but didn't record anything else like top speed, average speed, etc. Googled for help to see if there is a way to deal with this. Nothing. I went to the Cateye website. Again nothing. I'm happy for those who had a better experience, but I ended up returning mine and will not be buying a Cateye bike computer again.
