Used on my 1994 300ZX TT. It was way better than just using a screwdriver or pickaxe. Don't worry about scratching something or hurting your hands when slipping tools or jabbing fingers. Advice that worked for me on all 5 seals which I pulled out in about 3 minutes on the first try, I didn't really get the hook between the seal and the nock on the one next to the nock itself. My seals weren't super hardened so I stuck the hook into the rubber and around the inner spring in the seal so the metal hook would never touch the cam or anything. That was enough to get him out, not touchy! I can recommend this remedy 100%.
