I couldn't compress them by hand. thought they were trapped but when i put them on they work. Here's the problem. THEY ARE UNLOADED ACCORDING TO THE TECHNICAL CONDITIONS WITHOUT RESPECT FOR THE WEIGHT OF THE HOOD. . When I open the hood, it wants to rocket open with a lot of force instead of an easy and pleasant lift. no big problem if i hold the hood and let the hood go up. And yes, they are made in China.
