Review on 💻 Efficient Cloud Scanner & Digital Filing System: NeatConnect for PC and Mac (6003875) by Carlos Henley

I was looking forward to a product that will make filing bills, documents and other documents easier. I tried going fully digital a few years ago but it was too cumbersome, mostly because I had to scan to a computer first and then work on files on the same computer. It's not easy to share the database then, so the idea was quickly mothballed. But now, with this new cloud scanner combined with Neat's cloud brain and the ability to access and work with files from anywhere, I'm happy camping. The scanner works well and makes it easy to merge pages and use other options when scanning to Neat cloud. There is a bonus that allows you to scan to other clouds like OneDrive. I found it fed documents well through the automatic sheet feeder (just make sure the paper is straight and tight and you shouldn't have any problems) and it saved a lot of time since it has a duplex scanner. Document management tools are pretty good. I gave 4 stars because they may need improvement and there are some differences between different clients that are a bit inconsistent. Also, the ability to automatically extract data from documents is inconsistent, but tolerable, and looks like it's improving over time in the cloud. However, it still works well and provides security and easy access to those documents. I found the ability to search by keywords very useful, and you just have to think about how you want to store and label all your data consistently so you can find it later. Overall, I am very happy that I received this device and the service. I was a little worried by some of the negative reviews but I don't see any major issues so far.
