, We taped it around the window block and also under the regular window to create a better seal for both. works perfectly, was pretty easy to install (my husband and I did this together as someone needed to hold the air conditioner to keep it from falling as it was already in the window so have someone handy if you can!), and it seems like the place is colder longer. We also didn't see any ants or flies coming through the cracks. There's also a lot on the roll so that's great! The only thing that bothered me was the peeling off of the adhesive film. We thought the whole thing would need to be taken off to show the adhesive as the coating was difficult to remove, but all you had to do was peel off the white layer. It just takes a little fiddling to lift the corner and peel it off like regular adhesive. but that was no problem. I would recommend it for all your sealing needs!
