No cable lock is 'high security' but they are definitely better than most I've seen. The numbers on the dials are clearly visible, which is a HUGE bonus in my book, and the action is smooth and reliable. I bought six of these and set them to the same combo and my family takes turns using them to attach their bikes to the same mounting point in the garage. Works very well. The 6ft version is long enough to lock two bikes through their forks at once and around a strut, rack or post. However, the included bracket for attaching the lock to the bike even while riding is pretty much useless. It only fits on the seat tube - and only on a full size adult bike, and only if you don't have tail lights or shocks in the seat tube etc. It beats it for any of the six bikes in my family. If you want to ride with this lock instead of leaving it at home, you'll have to toss it in your saddlebag or backpack, or just clip it to your fork like any other lock. Still, it rolls into a tight loop every time without fuss, making it super easy to pack, even in a relatively small saddlebag or handlebar bag.
