Review on 🎨 Prismacolor Premier Turquoise Graphite Drawing Leads, Non-Photo Blue, 2mm, Pack of 12 by Amanda Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cool and fun to draw!

So at first I hated them. But I gave them some time and practiced a bit (especially how hard I pressed the graphite) and it turned out pretty cool. Pressing lightly creates a very false blue that works well as a primer for ink or darker shades. Graphite. Once I got the hang of it, I actually drew sharper and shorter sketch lines with this graphite compared to regular graphite since it interacts with paper. I have a feeling I'll get through this case pretty quickly. Fair warning, don't sharpen with a rotary sharpener. Graphite is very soft and easily broken in a sharpener. I would use an old manual sharpener, my personal favorite is the Uni. I wouldn't recommend it if you have a heavy hand unless you really want to practice lighter bench presses first.

Pros
  • Pencils
Cons
  • Not as fat as the others

Nice contrast before putting down your final lines
