Review on Enhance Your Kitchen with the πŸ”§ Moen 131381 Pulldown Hose Kit in Chrome by Jason Sullivan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great on a 90 degree blender made before July 2012. You cannot navigate by the faucet model number.

That's it. Our first hose started leaking after a year. Moen sent us a replacement free of charge. It went like this for 2 years. Moen offered us a choice of another free replacement or a new faucet for $59. Same type but presumably self sweeping. I paid $59. The same type, but presumably self-winding. To save on plumbing I figured I could use a new hose and save on plumbing until I needed a plumber for something else. Well, the hose looked the same, but it wasn't. Don't turn down the faucet. The new ending was too big. That's why I ordered this replacement. Furnished. Still leaked. So I replaced the original wand with a new wand. The new rod in combination with this hose works perfectly. Now I'm wondering if it was a wand all along. Warning. Moen kept the same faucet model number but changed part numbers and some fittings. The sizes are different. The new stick fits perfectly. It wasn't the hose. This hose fits an earlier batch of this faucet model. I believe July 2012 was the transition date. If your faucet was manufactured after this date, this hose will not work. If you've lost the original book, this is the best place to find it. If your faucet has a clamp on the weight, then this is the original model. If it has a weight sled, it's a new model.
