The idea of mounting an iPhone to the handlebars of a mountain bike is stupid.

Before you read just know that my wife bought this. I think attaching anything to the handlebars of your bike is a silly idea. I believe that when riding a bike you should focus on the road and your surroundings and not on things like looking at your phone. Do you really need GPS when cycling? Do you write while cycling? Will you watch Netflix on your bike while you drive? Want your teen to mount their phones on bikes? And iPhones are expensive. Do you really want to install it on your bike? The product is well made and will hold your phone in place when standing or riding smoothly, but the idea of mounting your phone on a mountain bike is utterly stupid and useless. That's why I'm giving this mount 2 stars instead of zero. The rubber straps will hold your phone in place and are durable, but when you're on a bike the straps can fall apart due to vibration and vibration. The bracket holds the phone in place. , but due to the jarring and shaking I wouldn't rely on your phone to stay in place. If you fall hard, your phone will fall down. And if you have a bike rack and store multiple bikes on it, you'll need to remove this fixture and remove it every time you get on and off your bikes.

Pros
