I've had cheaper mounts that slipped. Foolishly put the brackets back in stronger. After a few weeks I found that the retainer had slipped again - at some point and somewhere unknown. I had no idea where $450 prescription glasses could come from. A week later I found her in my house. I don't care about the fish but I make sure these retainers are SECURE. If you're using cheap drugstore reading glasses, use any holder you like. But if you're using a holder for expensive glasses, I suggest you pay a few bucks more just to be safe.
