It takes some getting used to.
Although the scanner works, the software also works. A tutorial video on how to get the most out of your scanner would be helpful. There is a learning curve to get good results. The scanner's design is not ideal for scanning the inside edge of a book. A narrower track would have helped, and larger rollers could have coded the path. The scanner needs built-in height detection when you tilt the scanner instead of just dragging it. The scanner also needs a side button to indicate that you are ready to start the next page.
