I don't use it on my car. It's in my camper trailer (100Ah deep cycle gel battery) which I charge with a solar panel system (200W per controller connected to the battery). In this capacity he is excellent. I'm not sure about the percentages, but the volts are correct. The historical data really helped me to better understand how the system charges and discharges during the day and night. I was so pleased with it that I have ordered two more for my two shed off grid solar/wind systems.
