Works. Just a very ugly light blue. I don't know why he couldn't at least make it green like the rest of the panel. Oddly enough, it actually fixes a deceptive problem with the first-gen Tacoma AC display. After checking some forums, the old default button doesn't indicate that the AC compressor is on when you turn on the defrost, when in fact it is. This button (correctly) shows the air conditioner as "on" when defrost is enabled. I thought it was short until I checked it. Never noticed it in 18 years of truck ownership.
